Please read our terms and conditions of service carefully. They are relevant to your contract with us.

The terms of the Agreement between the customer and Medical Accounting Services (MEDACC) shall be kept strictly confidential at all times. Details of individuals and cases will be kept confidential at all times and will be subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Terms and Conditions

The customer agrees that these terms and conditions as set out herein will apply to the customer for using the services of MEDACC Ltd or Medical Accounting Services Ltd and that additional instructions referred will also be subject to these terms and conditions, unless an alternative written agreement is in force.

The Service - MEDACC:

  1. Will determine the most suitable method for a successful outcome.
  2. Reserves the right to refuse or to terminate any action at any time, and with no liability to itself.
  3. Is employed as the customer's agent working on behalf of the customer.
  4. Will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, which may be suffered or incurred as a result of the service provided or otherwise, where action is taken or recommenced as a result of customer instructions or the customer failing to supply or notify MEDACC of appropriate information.

Obligations of the Customer

  1. Any work referred to MEDACC must be true and valid;
  2. The customer agrees to notify MEDACC of any changes to information provided immediately and will comply with the requirements of the Office of Fair Trading;
  3. The customer agrees to supply MEDACC, when requested, relevant information to assist in or deal with a query or subject access request without delay;
  4. The signatory or person or organisation that submits any instruction or any other request for services declare that they have proper authority to do so and will be liable for any fee or other as a result of that submission;
  5. Documents passed to MEDACC are agreed to be transported at the sender's own risk. MEDACC will not accept responsibility for any documents or other in any way whatsoever received from any source. MEDACC reserves the right to securely dispose of any documents still in its possession six months from the date of receipt;
  6. Any information supplied by MEDACC is to be treated as indicative only and the customer agrees any information supplied is to be treated in the strictest confidence and must not be divulged to any third party/parties or outside source whatsoever;

Payments

  1. The customer agrees that all invoices are due and payable 30 days from the date of invoice.
  2. MEDACC reserves the right to charge interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 on any outstanding invoices.
  3. MEDACC reserves the right to offset any money held against invoices outstanding.
  4. This or any other contract that exists between MEDACC and the customer is agreed to be governed by English law and no other. ;

Variation

MEDACC reserves the right to alter, cancel, reject, and withdraw any of its services or terms at any time without penalty or compensation and without explanation.
